Draugr - MCO|DXP

Fear the dead

Meet the new Draugr : The Fool

Why do skeletons fight like overlords ?

Draugr MCO-DXP is an animation based overhaul focused on giving unique dedicated animations to the draugr based on their fighting proficiency

If a draugr has a different name, a different armor and it can shout, it should fight differently. The mod separates them into four archetypes (one released, one ongoing, two planned) each looking and feeling completely different

From the rotten limping carcass to the trained and agile warlord, they all strive for the sole common goal of keeping their ruins away from stray adventurers

The Hollow

Draugr, draugr thrall and skeletons

Merely a warning

These Draugr are barely a threat in duel and only provide danger in groups. It’s almost hard to believe they once were warriors

Their attacks are slow and inefficient. They seem to struggle lifting their weapons

Not only are their swings sluggish, they also lack form making these draugr struggle to get their balance back

Still, something is off. Maybe is it the darkness, the smell ? Or perhaps, are they merely a warning of the real danger awaiting in the Skyrim’s crypts

The fool

Restless Draugr and Draugr Wight

A corpse has nothing to lose

These draugr are already a threat on their own, but they’re a nightmare in group. They do not seem to have any self of sense preservation. Almost as if it didn’t matter wether they won their battle or didn’t. All that matters is that you perish

They relentlessly attack without any care for themselves or what is in front of them. Their flurries are dangerous, fast and they actually recover fairly quickly from their attacks

The treasure in the crypts are precious, shiny will catch any eyes attention, but beware, maybe are they why the ruins remain mostly unexplored
